Sight Unseen requires participants to rely on and collaborate with each other participants as they deal with confusion, chaos, and time limits that are required to be worked through as a team. This adaptive virtual experience is led by blind or visually impaired people from all walks of life.

Without the use of their vision, each participant is required to use their other senses throughout the experience. Without their sight, the group must find a common language to accomplish the challenges. In this empathy exercise, each challenge is followed by a short discussion on what they just experienced and how it relates to the everyday challenges faced by their host, giving everyone a truly soulful view into disabilities, adversity, and diversity.  

Sight Unseen is a unique and effective team building event that builds lasting awareness and empathy for you, as well as provides much-needed employment to our blind or visually impaired Program Hosts.

This team building activity is designed to do just that, gently yet powerfully. As you might guess from the name, it’s a unique blend of meditation and entertainment.

From the moment the room lights fade, an oasis of calm begins to fill the space. A soothing voice becomes the guiding focus on a meditative journey of imagination. Participants are introduced to the meditation experience with stunning images of the places they can travel to during your event. You’ll have 16 destinations to choose from; everyone votes for their favorites by waving multi-colored glow sticks.

Maybe you’ll begin by visiting the Lost City. Some groups prefer a Mountain Refuge, Blue Lagoon or Desert Oasis. Each is brought to life with a rich nature soundscape and other soothing stimuli.
